Fire Australia 2021: Tradeshow Highlights

Posted on : Friday, 14 May 2021

The largest fire protection Conference and Tradeshow in the Southern Hemisphere can always be counted on to show the latest technology from some of Australia's leading suppliers.

Fire Australia 2021 has showcased the best in the industry, demonstrating some of the most innovative fire safety solutions.

The Virtual Tradeshow

This year we decided to organise for someone to take a 3D image of the Tradeshow, so that anyone could walk their way through it in cyberspace and see what was on offer from some of Australia's leading fire protection companies.

What's the buzz?

Wondering what people are saying about Fire Australia 2021?

We sent a crew to check out the Tradeshow.  Check out the video here.

Welcome Cocktails

As the last program session finished for the day, the PA system heralded the start of the Fire Australia 2021 Welcome Cocktails.

Drinks in hand, and seated in line with the ICC's coronavirus requirements, the room was humming with conversations, as attendees socialised and networked.

The sound of rhythmic drumming from a pair of Japanese performers signalled that presentations were about to commence, and (when they music stopped) Chief Operating Officer Nathan Semos, took the stage officially to open Fire Australia for 2021.

Nathan thanked everyone for coming, particularly given recent restrictions in NSW, and expressed appreciation to organisers and staff for all of their hard work to deliver a successful conference.

Next on the stage was President Bill Lea, who invited Aidan Lister from Platinum Sponsors Uptick to say a few words.

Aidan said that Uptick was proud to be part of the fire protection industry, and was working to deliver digital solutions to help practitioners.  He said that the company strongly supported the Association and was pleased to be the major sponsors for 2021.

Tradeshow Awards

Bill returned to the stage and announced that the Fire Australia Conference and Tradeshow gives awards for the best stalls every year, voted for by delegates.

He announced that the winners for 2021 were:

FireMate, stall 204A - Winner of the Best Exhibition Stand People's Choice Award

Uptick, stalls 206 and 207 - Winner of the Best Exhibition Stand over 12m2

NAFFCO Australia, stall 300 - Winner of the Best Exhibition Stand under 12m2

FPA Australia's congratulations go to the three winners.

Spotlight on the sponsors

Fire Australia would not be possible without our sponsors, the following of whom were all exhibitors in the Tradeshow:

Wormald Australia and UL are also sponsors, but do not have a stand.

These companies are leaders of the fire protection industry and we appreciate their support.  Drop in to see them to find out what they can do to help you and your business.
