Posted on : Thursday, 22 July 2021

Coronavirus continues to spread, causing Governments to take drastic steps to contain it.

Cases have increased to 1,583 across Australia, as a result of 135 new locally acquired cases across Australia in the 24 hours to 9pm on 21 July, 2021.

110 of these cases were in NSW, 22 in Victoria, and 3 in South Australia.

  • NSW's restrictions in Greater Sydney have now been extended to Orange, Blayney, and Cabonne Shires, which have been locked down for 7 days until Wednesday morning, 28 July, 2021;

  • Victoria's current state-wide lockdown has been extended at least until Tuesday, 27 July, 2021; and

  • South Australia has moved to Level 5 restrictions with its own state-wide lockdown until Tuesday, 27 July, 2021.

The NSW Government has now made changes to the  Public Health Order, recognising fire protection and safety for authorised workers and within residential premises.  This means routine service work, maintenance, and repairs for fire safety systems can now be carried out in all building types.
